ER Visit

Bradley got Croup and we were able to take him to his pediatrician to get medication and he did pretty well and got over it quickly. Then we took him back for his 18 mo check up then the next night around eight we noticed Benson started barking.  It quickly became worse and we had to take him to the ER to get him some help.  His poor little body was just wheezing and he could not get his breathing under control.  It was around one am when we got to the hospital and they told us we would have to stay 3-4hrs for monitoring. It was Benson and I Bret stayed home to get some sleep with Bradley.  At first Benson was tired so we just laid on the bed and I thought maybe we could just sleep the few hours away.  But that quickly changed and he was talking like crazy and colored a ton of coloring pages.  Whatever meds they gave him put him in crazy mode.  He did awesome and we went home around four am.  We returned to the pediatrician the following day.  I felt like we had been there everyday of that week.

Garage Shelves

Bret did a great job putting up some shelves so we had some organized storage in the garage.  And of course he had an awesome (always in the way, playing with things he shouldn't) helper Benson. 

 

Fishing and playing at Steineker

 First Day of Nursery

Bradley did pretty well going to Nursery the worker said he sat with her the last twenty minutes and just relaxed.  He usually takes a nap during the time he is in Nursery so hopefully he will continue to do well and not be too tired.

Hike to Moonshine Arch

 We were unsure of the trail and read reviews online that there was a parking lot outside of the hike for cars.  Trucks could pretty much drive right on up to the arch.  We ended up parking way outside of the hike which made for a much longer hike but it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it even with the extra mileage.  It would have been even better if the kids were not so tired but they were good sports.

Uintah Recreation Center 

We had a really fun day at the rec center.  It was our first time there so we stayed for a long time. They had a play place for the kids that they have set up during the winter.  There was fun roller coaster scooters, big tricycles, blow up thing and random other fun activities.  They really had a fun time going from one activity to the next.  Their favorite activity was the little roller coaster scooters.  After we wore Bradley out it was time for swimming. Benson was so excited.  We pretty much had the pool to ourselves.  I was pretty cold but stayed in because Benson loved it so much.  It was really hard to get him out of the pool.

Random Snow Day

Benson and Bret went out and shoveled the walks and made a snow man.  I went out to take pictures and give Benson the paints to play with.  He loved it.

 Benson's Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated an early birthday with the Cousins. We had a dinosaur theme and had fun playing with everyone and eating cake.

Bowling for Benson's 3rd Birthday

We had some more party fun going bowling with the Howell side of the family. Benson did pretty well even though he did take a slip and slide down the lane. Bradley was smiling so big whenever he got to bowl with Grandpa. 

Dentist

We noticed that Benson had a cavity so we took him in to get it taken care of and to check the rest of his teeth out.  I was planning on having to hold him down while they worked on his teeth. He did so awesome we were so surprised.  He was nervous but handled it like a champ, no holding down was required.   

Curious George came to the Library

The library put on a cute activity where they had Curious George, Scooby Doo, and Clifford drop by and then you can rotate to four different stories being read. Then they had a craft and snack. I was excited to take Benson because he has been obsessed with Curious George lately.  He had fun but would not get close to any of the characters.

Benson's Actual 3rd Birthday

It was good that we had previously celebrated with Benson for his Birthday because his actual Birthday was a crazy day full of moving. He was extremely spoiled he got a new house, t.v., clothes and toys for his birthday.  We were very thankful that Grandma Roxy and Papa Earl came to help with all the craziness.

 Butterfield Family Christmas Party

Bradley was not a fan of Santa

Benson LOVED Santa.  He asked me if he brought his reindeer's and I told him to ask Santa so when it was his turn to sit on his lap he asked right away.  He was so cute with Santa singing all the songs and just grinning the whole time.

Howell Family Christmas Eve Party

We played lots of fun games, ate yummy food and acted out the nativity scene.  It was a really fun party!

Christmas Time Pictures

It is so much fun to have little kids at Christmas time. Does not get much cuter than these two.

           We all got WAY to much for Christmas it was a good thing that Bret took two trips back and forth because there was no way we could have fit everything in our car.  It was so much fun being around so much family.  Bradley was sick but was still such a good kid. I love Christmas time and was sad when it ended but I am excited for the New Year and all the craziness that I am sure 2015 will bring.
