Spring Happenings

We went to Senior Sendoff hosted by Bret's school at the Botanical Gardens. His class is starting Externships so it is the last time they will all be together. They served dinner and awarded everyone with superlatives.  It is always fun to meet the people that Bret talks about and see the people he is around.  Bret was on the list for most likely to invent something, and most likely to make it through an entire eye exam without a smile.  I can't believe that he is nearing the end of his schooling and we are moving back to Utah very soon.

Cute little Benson out swimming with friends.  He loved to play in the water even though it was not quite swimming weather, he still wanted to play quivering chin and all.

Day out at the Botanical Gardens the weather was gorgeous and it was fun to see signs of spring with lots of stuff in bloom.

Tunica Mississippi

We had an enjoyable chilly day walking along the Mississippi River!

Nashville

The Parthenon

The gutters were filled with different colors this one was orange.

The Grand Ole Opry Hotel

I Had so much fun with my visitors! We kept very busy while they were here trying to see and get a feel of everything Memphis and Nashville had to offer.  It was just great being around family.  I miss being close to them all the time.

Kentucky

We took a little trip up to Bowling Green Kentucky to tour the Mammoth Caves.  It was a lot of fun except for the "Sulfur" that backed up the whole tour because Mom was laughing so hard she could not continue walking down the stairs.

Nashville

We ate a lot of good food and Benson and the boys even enjoyed a swim before we had to depart back home.
